Meet Wayne Detweiler

Wayne experienced revival fires in his life as a young man called into the ministry. He was part of traveling team of music evangelists while attending Heston College. He traveled in missions and ministry as the devotional director of a biking ministry called “Outspoken” before graduating with his B.A. in Psychology.

Wayne was serving as an Associate Pastor in Ohio when he was invited to speak as the camp pastor for junior high week and a blond life-guard caught his eye – Sue. Together they began ministering as youth pastors during engagement and early marriage. After Wayne graduated with a Master of Divinity from AMBS, they traveled to Nashville where they planted a church, served as senior pastors, and then both as associate pastors at New Song Christian Fellowship, and then at Faith Life.

After serving in pastoral ministry for 28 years in Nashville, Tennessee, they answered God’s call to relocate to Texas after Sue had a vision of Texas surrounded in flames and planted and pastored a Foursquare Church. In 2021, after being married and in ministry for over 35 years, they launched Life Bridge Global.

As full funding becomes available, Wayne will serve as the executive director of Life School of Ministry a two year Bible Training Program with classes available for local churches, online, and international communities. Wayne will also serve Life Bridge Global as a life coach for individuals and couples.

Wayne and Sue have been ministering to marriages during their entire ministry life. Together, they have 6 adult children and 8 wonderful grandchildren. They are also spiritual parents, to many spiritual sons and daughters around the globe.
